signing off for the holidays...

but before I go, I wanted to give a plug to a wonderful ministry. The Angel Tree Ministry gives Christmas presents to the children of prison inmates around the US. This is a wonderful, easy, and relatively cheap way to bless a needy child at Christmas. If you click on the "Angel Tree at Christmas" tab, you can get more details. Gobble gobble, give now, before you eat too much turkey, the triptophane kicks in, and you can no longer remember what I'm talking about.

anniversary tribute!

Try JibJab Sendables® eCards today!

My niece Sarah is helping me have some fun, at Jeff and Sonya's expense. Don't feel too bad for them, they are currently celebrating their 20th anniversary!! They are such great godly examples of marriage, and we are so blessed to have them in our family. Now I have just 4 days, before they return, to dye my hair and join the witness protection program...

Book of the Month!!

Since I can't figure out how to add that cool Shelfaria thingy that I see on other blogs (it lets you list fav books), here's a post for November's book of the month! It's Ruth Graham's Devotional for Families and it's on sale now at Christian Book Distributors.

I got to thumb through a copy while at bible study, where my kids received awesome free childcare!! Thanks Cornerstone! The book was full of Bible stories and application questions, and I can't wait to use it with my 6 yr old (although I think it would work with younger and older ages too). Go out and get a copy! Go on, GET IT!

Fall Foto

The costumes didn't stay on long, but I couldn't resist the chance for a photo op. I think it was all of 2 seconds before Emma no longer wanted to be a princess, and Joy pooped her pants, but it was cute will it lasted!
